Stone Soup for Everyone!
Two of the benefits of Food Education Every Day is that students share their learning experience by involving families in the fun and they then can enjoy a creation with their classmates. This fall, we are having a school wide "Stone Soup" event, in which we are asking students to bring a single vegetable from home, just like the villagers in the folk story. They can bring them anytime next week, 10/17 through the 20th (no school on 10/21). They have the choice among a potato, onion, carrot, broccoli, green cabbage, etc.
Becky has said she can make any vegetable work!
Then during lunch on Tuesday October 25, every student will be able to enjoy the soup made possible by everyone's contribution!
Thank you for your support,
